CREDA advocates for effective legislation on behalf of its members. As the recognized leader in commercial real estate, CREDA advances the industry’s public policy agenda by actively working with elected officials on legislative issues that affect the industry’s welfare.

Through the efforts of our dedicated Government Affairs staff and the strength of CREDA’s Political Action Committee (CREDA-PAC), we have successfully organized CREDA’s representation on Capitol Hill and before federal regulatory agencies, making it a powerful voice for commercial real estate.

Reflecting changes in membership, NAIP became NAIOP (National Association for Industrial and Office Parks) in 1976. In 2009, NAIOP dropped the words behind its acronym, which no longer reflected its current membership composition. In 2026, NAIOP has now become CREDA.

Over the years, CREDA has attracted members who are committed to excellence, entrepreneurial in spirit, and want to reach new heights in building excellence.

CREDA is a leading provider in the commercial real estate industry, offering unparalleled networking opportunities, educational programs, trend and innovation research, and strong legislative representation.
CREDA’s sister organization, the CREDA Research Foundation, is one of the industry’s leading think tanks, dedicated to researching trends, economic viability, and the needs of the built environment.

The Utah chapter began in 2012 and continues to grow, adding new members every day!
